With more than two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, economic development, and strategic consulting, Rosie is a seasoned professional dedicated to fostering organizational growth and community impact. She specializes in advising nonprofit organizations on strategic planning, operations and business development. Rosie has successfully led and facilitated the development of key strategic and business plans for numerous clients, positioning them for long-term success.
Previously Rosie served as the Executive Director of the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund of Metro Orlando, where she managed day-to-day operations and led the organization through a period of significant growth. Under her leadership, scholarships awarded to Hispanic students increased by 25% and the organization distributed nearly $140,000 in scholarships in 2021 alone. Rosie spearheaded a number of fundraising initiatives, including large-scale events that generated significant revenue, while fostering relationships with marketing firms and securing valuable community partnerships.
From 2009 to 2014, Rosie served as Vice President at Prospera, a leading Hispanic economic development organization. During this time, she managed operations for two Central Florida offices, driving substantial economic impact by helping create or retain nearly 400 jobs in a single fiscal year. Rosie also developed new client programs, managed large fundraising events, and cultivated relationships with government officials to ensure program compliance.
Earlier in her career, Rosie worked at cutting-edge global PR firm Edelman, where she provided strategic communications counsel to high-profile real estate, travel and leisure and professional service clients.
With a strong foundation in nonprofit and business management, Rosie continues to make a profound impact on the clients she serves.
Rosie earned degrees in public relations and political science from the University of Florida. She has served on a number of nonprofit boards and is a graduate of Leadership Orlando, Class 86.
